Responsibilities
The Swiftel Center Advisory Committee shall act only in an advisory capacity to the City Council. The committee shall advise the city concerning marketing, operational and management issues of the Swiftel Center. The committee shall also advise and assist the city in the performance of contracts between the City of Brookings and County of Brookings, between the City of Brookings and the firm managing the Swiftel Center, and those which concern the Swiftel Center.
The board consists of seven members who each serve a three-year term. Residency is not required. Members are appointed to the board in January. For more information on requirements and responsibilities, view the City Code.
