Christmas Holiday Schedule
The City of Brookings Landfill:
Monday, December 24th to Tuesday 25th - Closed
Wednesday, December 26th - Will start normal operating hours from 7:30 am - 4:15 pm
Saturday, December 29th - 8:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
The City of Brookings Collection Department:
December 24th and 25th – Closed all day
Garbage Schedule for Christmas week:
Monday’s normal pickup will be collected on Wednesday
Tuesday’s normal pickup will be collected on Thursday
Thursday and Friday recycling collection will be all be picked up on Friday
New Year’s Holiday Schedule
The City of Brookings Landfill:
Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 - Closed
Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 - will start normal operating hours from 7:30 am to 4:15 pm
The City of Brookings Collection Department:
Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 – Closed all day
Garbage Schedule:
Monday pickup will be normal and Tuesday’s pickup will be on Wednesday and recycling will be normal Thursday and Friday pickup days.
Christmas Tree Pick-Up Schedule:
The City of Brookings Collection Department will start picking up Christmas trees on Mondays and Tuesdays starting December 31st, 2012 and ending on January 22nd, 2013. If you have a tree that needs to be picked up please contact the landfill at 693-3667.
