NOTICE TO BIDDERS

City Crop Lease, Weise and Freeland Additions

Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of Brookings, South Dakota, at the office of the City Clerk at the Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 3^rd Street, Suite 230, Brookings, South Dakota, until 1:30 PM, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 for “City Crop Lease”.  All bids will then be publicly opened and read.  

The bids are to lease approximately 10 acres of crop land located in Section 18 (Freeland Addition) and 30 acres of crop land located in Section 19 (Wiese Addition), T110N, R49W.

Specifications and bidding blanks may be inspected and procured at the Community Development Department Office, 520 3^rd Street, Suite 140, City & County Government Center, Brookings, South Dakota, 57006 or online at www.cityofbrookings-sd.gov .  Questions should be directed to Mike Struck, Community Development Director, at 605-692-6629.  Bidders shall check for Addendums on the website. 

All bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope and shall state on the left corner of the envelope, “City Crop Lease”.  Any bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.     

Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the actual opening thereof.  The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
