NOTICE TO BIDDERS

City Hay Lease, Section 11-T109N-R50W (near 32^nd Street South)

Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of Brookings, South Dakota, at the Office of the City Clerk at the Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 3^rd Street, Suite 230, Brookings, South Dakota, until 1:30 PM, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, for City Hay Lease, Section 11-T109N-R50W.  All bids will then be publicly opened and read.

Such bids are to lease approximately 18 acres of hay land located in the NE ¼ of Section 11-T109N-R50W, located east of Main Avenue South and south of 32^nd Street South.    

Specifications and bidding blanks may be inspected and procured at the City Engineer’s Office, 520 3^rd Street, City & County Government Center, Brookings, South Dakota, 57006 or online at www.cityofbrookings.org.  Questions should be directed to Charlie Richter, City Engineer, at (605) 692-6629.   Bidders shall check for addendums on the website.

All bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope and shall state on the left corner of the envelope, “City Hay Lease Section 11-T109N-R50W.”  Any bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.     

No bids may be withdrawn after the time set for the opening of bids. Action on the bids will occur within 30 days of the bid opening. The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
