Ordinance 23-030
An Ordinance amending Chapter 94, Zoning of the City of Brookings pertaining to Section 94-1, Section 94-131, Section 94-132, Section 94-134 and Section 94-135 for the purposes of Administration of the Zoning Ordinance.
Be It Ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota that the Subdivision Regulations be amended as follows:
I.
Chapter 94 – Zoning
ARTICLE I. – IN GENERAL
Sec. 94-1. – Definitions
Pet services: Establishments engaged in providing services involving the care or common household pets such as dogs, cats or other small animals, including, but not limited to daycare, boarding, grooming, bathing, clipping, training, incidental health services, retail sales or other similar services. All services, storage areas, retail areas, boarding areas and recreation areas must be located entirely within a completely enclosed building.
ARTICLE IV. – DISTRICT REGULATIONS
DIVISION 1 - GENERALLY
Sec. 94-131. Business B-1 Central District.
(d) Permitted special uses.
(5) Pet services.

II.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
