[ARCHIVED] TEMPORARY CLOSURE ON WESTERN AVENUE ON THURSDAY 6/19 FOR SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION

The City of Brookings has scheduled a temporary closure of Western Avenue from Primrose Drive to 32nd Street South starting at 8:30 am on Thursday, June 19th and ending at approximately
5:00 pm. The detour route is to use 22nd Avenue South. This temporary closure will allow the construction contractors to safely install a sanitary sewer manhole and make the necessary sanitary sewer connections at the intersection of 26th Street South and Western Avenue. Perimeter traffic control has been installed and additional traffic control will be set up in areas where construction is taking place.
