The Brookings Municipal Utilities has scheduled a temporary closure of 3rd Street from 22nd Avenue to State Street, anticipated to start at 8:00 am on Monday, July 7th and will remain closed until approximately July 18th. During the first week of work, 22nd Avenue will be reduced to two (2) lanes at the intersection. There is no designated detour for this route, please plan accordingly. This temporary closure will allow the contractors to safely work on the water main in the street. Prussman Construction is the primary contractor on this project.
