[ARCHIVED] 2014 ABLE Award Winners

The A.B.L.E. Award (Ability, Belief, Leadership and Equality to Achieve Access For All) is an annual award program designed to recognize the outstanding commitment of a business or public entity in fulfilling the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Highlighting the efforts of an outstanding business or entity may motivate others to provide improved accessibility to goods and services.

This year, Mayor Reed and the Brookings Committee for People who have Disabilities will present the following two awards:
Dakota Nature Center
Swiftel Center Catering

The ABLE Awards presentation will be held in conjunction with the Butler Human Rights Award and the Mayor’s Awards for Historic Preservation at the Dakota Nature Center, 1705 32nd Street, on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
